We were so excited to have Tea Parties last week. The students love this fancy party! We get out our fine china (little tea sets for little hands), and enjoy special snacks and apple juice to sip.
On Wednesday, the children enjoyed fun necklaces. On Thursday, the class enjoyed tiaras, and tams. Both classes had tea (appple juice), small cupcakes, PBJs, and fruit kabobs. We then watched Gigi’s: The Royal Tea Party by Sheila Walsh, a movie that taught us that we are all God’s children, making us royally important to God. We are all royal princesses and princes—how exciting is that!
Volunteer parents plan our annual tea parties, so they are different every year. Thank you Marta Keas and Jean Decker (M/W/F class) and Kelly Akemann, Beth Burcham, Trisha and Chris Cooper (T/Th class) for working so hard to make our Tea Party such a success!
