Releasing our little butterflies into the world!

It’s here—the end of another school year. This time of year, we always have caterpillars we take care of in the classroom, watching them go through the process of metamorphosis, from caterpillar to butterfly. We watch them change, going through all the steps of the process, until they become butterflies, and we release them to the world!

This reminds us of our students—coming to us as 3 year olds, curious and uncertain. We watch them change and grow, we care for them, we learn from them, and then we send them off!

We are sad to see the children we have learned to love move on to Kindergarten, but at the same time so proud of the progress they have made at New Creations Preschool! We also have the privilege of seeing some of these great children come back for another year!

Thoughts to our graduating butterflies from Teacher Penny:

“It is always hard for me to say goodbye to New Creations graduates, as I have learned to love you all, and you all have a special place in my heart. I’m very proud of all of you as you have learned so much–not only your letters but how to work together as a team, to use listening ears and how to treat each other kindly. I feel confident that each of you are ready to move on to the next step in your education and will make your teachers and parents proud.”

To all parents: Teacher Ruth, Teacher Sheila and Teacher Penny would like to thank you for sharing your children with us this year—we have had a great year with them! This has been a very active and talkative group, making for some very interesting but enjoyable days. Never a dull moment with this group. Every one of them has been a blessing to us in so many ways.  God made each of us unique which is something we like to celebrate here at New Creations Preschool as we teach each child in their own learning style.

As in the past we have been blessed with wonderful children and families here at New Creations Preschool. We couldn’t have made it through the year without all of you there to support us in so many ways. Thank you!
