Last week we enjoyed school in the most comfortable way possible—in our PJs! The students loved PJ day. To celebrate, we read Pajama Pirates by Andrew Kramer. All the kids loved this one—even the wiggliest of the bunch.
The children were asked to bring something they take to bed with them, such as a stuffed animal or blankie. They each had a chance to tell about this or their special pajamas if they didn’t bring something.
The students also danced to Funsical Fitness music with Silly-cise and Adventurobics. This is a favorite movement activity in both classes, as the children get to act out wacky walking movements, pretending to be giants, babies, robots, and even Jello. Overall the day was exciting, fun, and most of all, comfortable!
