Learning to read begins before children start school. From the time they are infants, children learn language and other important skills that will help them learn to read. Developing early literacy skills makes it easier for children to learn to read once they begin school.
You have the opportunity to learn to help your child get ready to read with simple activities every day. New Creations Preschool has asked Gail Borden Library to come to our school to teach us these fun and easy activities to do with our children! Learn how to get your children interested in reading, how to expand on stories, and how to encourage your children to use more words and talk about the books they love
Everyone in the community with children from newborns to kindergarten age is welcome to join us!
